ORD 81-30 UNIFORM BUILDING CODEORDINANCE NO. 81 - 30
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW AMENDING_SECTION 1.B.a.1.
OF ORDINANCE 81-18, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
WINSLOW ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE UNIFORM BUILDING
CODE (1979 EDITION) AND OTHER 1979 BUILDING ADMINIS-
TRATIVE CODES.
The City Council of the City of Winslow do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 1.B.a.1. Issuance Procedure, of Winslow
Ordinance No. 81-18 is hereby deemed amended to
read as follows:
1. Issuance Procedure
(i) A site plan review shall be conducted and a
site plan approved by the Winslow Planning Agency
and the site plan review fees shall be paid by
the applicant prior to application for a building
permit for multi-family and non-residential construction.
(ii) The application, plans, and specifications and other
data filed by an applicant for a permit shall be checked
by the Building Official or his/her designee for a
determination of completeness. The building permit
application shall be considered complete only after:
1. the determination that the official application
form is complete
2. the plans submitted are adequate to evaluate the
proposed project
3. plan check fees have been calculated by the
Building Official (or designee)
4. and the plan check fees have been paid by the
applicant.
The complete application and building plans shall be
reviewed by the Building Official for compliance with
codes adopted by this ordinance and other pertinent laws
and ordinances in effect in the City of Winslow. When
the building official is satisfied that the work as
described in the application satisfies the requirements

of this code and conforms to other pertinent laws
and ordinances, the applicant will be required to
pay the calculated building permit fee. A building
permit shall then be issued to the applicant for
the work described.
SECTION 2.
All other provisions of ordinance No. 81-18 shall remain in
full force and effect.
