ORD 81-37 AMENDING 1981 BUDGETORDINANCE NO. 81-37
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW AMENDING THE
1981 BUDGET AND PROVIDING FOR REVENUE AND EXPEN-
DITURES UNFORSEEN AT THE TIME OF THE 1981 BUDGET
ADOPTION.
WHEREAS, sufficient data was not available at the time of the
1981 Budget adoption; and
WHEREAS, additional unappropriated funds are available as
follows:
Street Fund - overrealized beginning balance - $36,567
and;
WHEREAS, anticipated revenue for CETA salaries was not received;
and;
WHEREAS, salaries and general maintenance operation funds,
necessary for the safety, health, and welfare of the people of
Winslow must be appropriated;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Winslow do ordain as
follows:
Section 1. There shall be for the fiscal year 1981
additional salaries and wages in the
amount of $850 for the position of
Maintenance Supervisor and $1,739 for
the position of Laborer 4; and;
Section 2. There shall be for the fiscal year 1981
allocated the additional salaries and wages
and benefits in the amount of $12,000 which
includes amounts specified in Section 1 above,
expended from the street fund; and;
Section 3. For the fiscal year 1981 there shall be
allocated additional maintenance and
operation funds in the amount of $24,567.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Winslow this 3rd day
of December, 1981.
