AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 76-18, SECTION 3 PRESCRIBING
MEETINGS DUTIES AND RESPOP]SIBILITIES
The City Council of the City of Winslow do ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. That section 3 of ordinance no. 76-18
is hereby amended to read as follows:
The Planning Agency shall meet on the second and
fourth Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the
Winslow City Hall and may hold such other special
meetings as the Planning Agency may determine and
all meetings of the Planning Agency shall be open
to the public. In the event the regular scheduled
meeting falls upon a legal holiday, the meeting shall
be held on the next following business day. Annually,
at the first meeting in January or at such other times
as may be necessary, the Planning Agency shall elect
from its members one person to serve as chairman and
the chairman shall preside at all meetings which shall
be conducted according to Roberts Rules of Order. The
chairman shall be entitled to vote on all matters coming
before the Agency.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective
five (5) days after publication or posting as required
by law.
