ORD 82-34 TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING RATES FOR WATER AND SEWER SERVICEORDINANCE 82-34
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW TEMPORARILY
SUSPENDING THE RATES FOR WATER AND SEWER SERVICE
SPECIFIED IN ORDINANCE 82-20, SECTION E.4.b. FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED OUTSIDE OF THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW AND IMPOSING THE RATES
SPECIFIED IN ORDINANCE 82-20, SECTION E.4.a ON
SUCH PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 82-20 established higher rates for water
and sewer service for property located outside of the corporate
limits of the City of Winslow than for property located
inside the city limits, and
WHEREAS, public discussions have raised certian questions
regarding the rates for property outside of the City, and
WHEREAS the City Council deems it wise to suspend the
additional amounts charged to property outside the City
limits pending consideration of this matter;
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of WinsLow
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1~
As of the November 1, 1982 water and sewer service billing,
the City of Winslow shall not charge property located outside
the corporate limits of the City of Winslow the higher rates
specified in Ordinance 82-20 E.4.b. but shall instead charge
porperty outside the City the rates for property located
within the City specified in Ordinance 82-20 E.4.a.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall take effect 5 days following its
posting as provided by law.
