certain City-owned shares in the Islander Mobile Home Park.
WHEREAS, in 2004, the City purchased seven shares in the Islander Mobile
Home Park Association, located in downtown Winslow, just north of City Hall, for
affordable and income qualified housing purposes; and
WHEREAS, on August 25, 2010, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2010-
24, declaring the City’s seven shares to be surplus to the needs of the City and
authorizing the sale of the shares, but only as current residents chose to vacate and the
shares became available; and
WHEREAS, the City currently retains two remaining shares, located at 227 and
301 Madrona Way, as shown in Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, since being declared surplus, the shares located at 227 and 301

shares are no longer surplus to the needs of the City of Bainbridge Island.
