AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE
1983 BUDGET AND ORDINANCE NO. 82-40 ADOPTING THE 1983 BUDGET
TO PROVIDE FOR THE APPROPRIATION OF UNANTICIPATED REVENUE TO
THE CURRENT EXPENSE FUND NO. 001 AND UTILITY FUND NO. 401
APPROPRIATED TO THE CITY STREET FUND NO. 101.
WHEREAS, at the time of adoption of the 1983 Budget the
amount of revenue to be collected from various sources could
only be estimated resulting in the need to suppliment the
budget to provide for appropriations of excess revenues, and
WHEREAS, the City has received and will be receiving funds
over and above the estimated revenue to the Current Expense
Fund No. 001 and the Utility Fund No. 401 and funds allocated
to individual line items within the Street Fund No. 101, should
be adjusted due to the need for additional allocation to
certain line items, which increases can be funded from
unexpected funds previously allocated to other line items.
NOW, THEREFORE,
The City Council of the City of Winslow do ordain as follows:
Section 1 That the 1983 Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 82-40
passed by the City Council on December 23, 1983, is hereby
amended to appropriate unanticipated revenues to the Current
Expense Fund No. 001 and to the Utility Fund No. 401 and
to adjust certain line items within the Street Fund No. 101
as shown on Exhibit A and incorporated herein.
Section 2 That the following Fund estimated revenue and
appropriation shall constitute the amended budget for 1983,
Ordinance No. 82-40 passed by the City Council December 23, 1982.
