ORDINANCE NO. 84-21
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON,
LEVYING THE GENERAL TAXES FOR THE CITY OF WINSLOW IN
KITSAP COUNTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING
JANUARY 1, 1985, ON ALL PROPERTY, BOTH REAL AND
PERSONAL, IN SAID CITY WHICH IS SUBJECT TO TAXATION
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING SUFFICIENT REVENUE TO
CARRY ON THE SEVERAL DEPARTMENTS OF SAID CITY FOR
THE ENSUING YEAR AS REQUIRED BY LAW, AND TO RETIRE
THE JANUARY GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND; AND THE 1975
PARK GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND AND PROVIDE FOR
COLLECTION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Winslow has
considered the City's anticipated financial requirements for
1985, and the amounts necessary and available to be raised by ad
valorem taxes on real, personal and utility property, now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There shall be and hereby is levied on all
real, personal, and utility property in the City of Winslow, in
Kitsap County, whose estimated assessed valuation is $128,795,345
current taxes for the ensuing year commencing January 1, 1985 in
the amount of and at the rates specified below:

Section 2. This ordinance shall be certified to the
Kitsap County Auditor, as provided by law, and taxes here levied
shall be collected to pay to the Clerk-Treasurer of the City of
Winslow at the time and in the manner provided by the laws of the
State of Washington for the collection of taxes for nonchartered
code cities.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting as
provided by law.
