ORDINANCE NO. 84-26
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON,
CONCERNING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY ~PUrY
WINSLOW AND COMMONLY KNOWN AS "THE CANYON" AND
APPROVING DEVELOPMENT OF THIS PROPERTY IN A ZONE OF
SPECIAL SIGNIFICANCE.
WHEREAS, the applicant, Ronald Comin, has applied for
development approval of certain property located in the City of
Winslow, Washington, and commonly known as "the Canyon" and more
particularly described on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incor-
porated herein by this reference as if set forth in full, and
WHEREAS, the above referenced property is in a zone of
special significance as set forth in Chapter 18.52 of the
Winslow Municipal Code and
WHEREAS, Section 18.52.040 of the Winslow Municipal Code
specifies that property in a zone of special significance must
obtain approval in the same manner as a planned unit development
pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 18.40 of the Winslow
Municipal Code and
WHEREAS, the Planning Agency and Hearing Examiner have
both reviewed the application, plans, drawings and documents and
have forwarded their recommendations to the City Council and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing and
has reviewed the recommendations of the Planning Agency and
Hearing Examiner and has determined to approve the applications
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted findings of fact,
conclusions and decision with regard to the above application
which are hereby incorporated by this reference and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the application
meets the criteria set forth in Chapter 18.52 and Chapter 18.40
of the Winslow Municipal Code with respect to properties in
zones of special significance and planned unit developments,
now, therefore,

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The application for development of the pro-
perty described on Exhibit A, which is in a zone of special
significance is approved, subject to the terms and conditions
set [orth in the City Council's findings of fact, conclusions
and decision.
Section 2. Pursuant to Section 18.40,090 of the Winslow
Municipal Code, the Mayor is authorized to sign that certain
document entitled Concomitant Agreement dated November 30 ,
1984 and signed by the applicant. The clerk is directed to
record said agreement with the Kitsap County Auditor upon
execution by the Mayor.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting as
provided by law.
