ORD 85-18 LEVYING GENERAL TAXES ORDINANCE NO. 85-18
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHING-
TON, LEVYING THE GENERAL TAXES FOR THE CITY OF
WINSLOW IN KITSAP COUNTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 1986, ON ALL PROPERTY,
BOTH REAL AND PERSONAL, IN SAID CITY WHICH IS
SUBJECT TO TAXATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING
SUFFICIENT REVENUE TO CARRY ON THE SEVERAL
DEPARTMENTS OF SAID CITY FOR THE ENSUING YEAR
AS REQUIRED BY LAW, THE 1975 PARK GENERAL
OBLIGATION BOND AND THE 1969 JANUARY G.O. BOND,
AND PROVIDE FOR COLLECTION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Winslow has
considered the City's anticipated financial requirements for
1986, and the amounts necessary and available to be raised by
ad valorem taxes on real, personal and utility property, and
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There shall be and hereby is levied on all
real, personal, and utility property in the City of Winslow, in
Kitsap County, whose estimated assessed valuation is
$ 133,302,713
commencing January 1,
specified below:
Regular tax levy:
Special tax levy:
a. 1969 January G.O. Bond
(City improvements)
a. 1975 Parks G,O. Bond
current taxes for the ensuing year
1986 in the amount of and at the rates

Section 2. This Ordinance shall be certified to the
proper County Officials, as provided by law, and taxes here
levied shall be collected to pay to the Clerk-Treasurer of the
City of Winslow at the time and in the manner provided by the
laws of the State of Washington for the collection of taxes for
non-chartered code cities.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published in the
official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in
full force five (5) days after the date of publication.
