ORDINANCE NO. 85-19
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE N0. 80-09 AND
SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 80-10 TO DELETE ACCOUNT
NOS. 3A-185, 4-81 AND 4-12 FROM THE ASSESSMENT
ROLLS FOR ULID NOS. 5 AND 4 BECAUSE THE PROPERTIES
DID NOT BENEFIT FROM ULID NOS. 5 AND 4 AND WERE
THEREFORE INCORRECTLY INCLUDED ON THE ASSESSMENT
ROLLS.
WHEREAS, the Winslow City Council finds that three
parcels of land included on the assessment rolls for ULID Nos. 3
and 4 should be deleted because the property was mistakenly
included on the assessment rolls for the following reasons:
The Sigrist property, Account No. 5A-185, was segregated
prior to approval of the final assessment roll. The segre-
gated property was not benefited by ULID No. 5; and
The Ryan and Peterson properties, Account Nos. 4-81 and 4-12
consist of small strips of land which did not benefit by
ULID No. 4, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 80-09 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 2. Each of the lots, tracts, parcels of
land and other property shown upon the roll, as
adjusted and amended, is hereby determined and
declared to be specially benefited by the improve-
ment in at least the amount charged against the
same and the assessment appearing against the same
is in proportion to the several assessments
appearin9 upon that roll. There is hereby levied
and assessed against each lot, tract, parcel of
land and other property appearing upon the roll,
as adjusted and amended, the amount finally
charged against the same thereon. The assessment
roll is hereby amended to delete Account No. 5A-
185 from the roll.
Section 2. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 80-10 is hereby
amended to read as follows:

Section 5. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance should be held to be invalid or unconstitu-
tional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or
unconstitutlonality shall not affect the validity or constitu-
tionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase of
this ordinance.
Section 4. Thls ordinance or a summary thereof
consisting of the title shall be published in the official
newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force
flve (5) days after the date of publication.
