ORDINANCE NO. 86-12
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHING-
TON, AMENDING THE 1986 BUDGET, ADOPTED BY
ORDINANCE NO. 85-22, BY CHANGING THE SALARY
PAID TO THE PUBLIC WORKS CLERK AND THE GENERAL
OFFICE CLERK.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the 1986 budget by
passage of Ordinance No. 85-22, and
WHEREAS, the City Councll finds that the salary adjust-
ments set forth herein are in the best interests of the public
health, safety and general welfare and were not reasonably
anticipated at the time of passage of the 1986 budget, and
WHEREAS, this ordinance was not voted on until at least
five days after its introduction by filing with the City Clerk,
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 85-22 , and the 1986 budget
maximum
are hereby amended by establishing theApublic works clerk salary
maximum
at $ 14,000 and the ~ general office clerk salary at
$ 14,000
Section 2. The City Clerk/Treasurer is hereby author-
ized and directed to make the necessary and appropriate changes
to the 1986 budget as authorized by this ordinance. A copy of
this ordinance shall be transmitted to the Division of Municipal
Corporations and the Office of State Auditor and to the Associa-
tion of Washington Cities.
Section 5. This ordinance, having received the vote of
one more than a majority of all members of the City Council shall
be in full force and effect five (5)
