AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHING-
TON, ADDING A NEW SUBSECTION D TO SECTION
12.20.030 PROHIBITING A PERSON FROM ALLOWING A
DOG TO RUN AT LARGE IN A PARK; AMENDING
SECTION 12.20.040(B) TO RESTRICT USE OF CITY
TRASH RECEPTACLES TO TRASH GENERATED DURING
THE ACTUAL USE OF THE CITY PARK OR WHILE
M00RED AT THE CITY M00RAGE DOCK; AND
ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the following amendments are in the best
interests of the publlc health, safety and general welfare, now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MILL CREEK, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A new Subsection D is hereby added to
Section 12.20.050 to read as follows:
D. Dogs at Large. Allow a dog under that
person's care, custody or control to run at
large. Such dog must be on leash or within
immediate control of the person.
Section 2. Section 12.20.040 of the Winslow Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
B. Bring in, dump or deposit any trash, waste
or garbage not generated during lawful use of
the park or city moorage facilities. All
trash, waste and garbage 9erierated durin9
lawful use of the park or city moorage
facilities shall not be placed in any waters
in or contiguous to the park nor left anywhere
on the 9rounds, but shall be placed in the
proper receptacles where provided. Where
receptacles are not so provided, all such
trash, waste and garbage shall be carried away
from the park by the person responsible for
its presence and properly disposed of
elsewhere.
Section 3. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance should be held to be invalid or unconstitu-
tional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or
unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitu-
tionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase of
this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance or a summary thereof
consisting of the title shall be published in the official news-
paper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force
five (5) days after the date of publication.
