AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON,
ADDING TO CHAPTER 15.08 AS AN AMENDMENT TO SECTION
15.08.020 DEFINITIONS TO REVISE REQUIREMENTS AND
PROCEDURES FOR THE POSTING OF SIGNS FOR RECOGNITION
PURPOSES.
The City Council of the City of Winslow do ordain
as follows:
Section 1. There is hereby added to the Winslow
Municipal Code the following new section as designated:
Section 15.08.020. Definitions - 41.
"Recognition sign" means a sign recognizing an
award or other achievement of local public interest. It
shall be a free standing ground sign, of a maximum dimen-
sion of thirty-two square feet, erected for not more than
ninety days. A sign permit shall be required. No fees
shall be charged.
Section 1. This ordinance title or a summary thereof
shall be published in the official newspaper of the city and
shall take effect and be in full force five days after
publication.
