AN ORDINANCE OF TIIE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING TIlE
FINAL BUDGET OF TIIE CITY FOR TItE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING
JANUARY 1, 1988.
WIIEREAS, ou or before tile first business day in the
third month prior to the'beginning of tile fiscal year of
1988, the Clty Cleric submitted to tile Mayor tile estimates of
revenues and expenditures for the next fiscal year as
required by law, aed
WIIEREAS, the Mayor reviewed tim estimates and mad~
such revisions and/or additions as deemed advisable and prlor
to sixty days before January 1, 1988, filed the said rovtsed
prellmhmry budget with tim City Clerk Logether with a budget
message. as recommendation for the final budget, and
WItEREAS, tim City Council scheduled beethugs on the
preliminary budget for the purpose of providing informatiou
regarding estimates and programs, and
WIIEREAS, the City Council did meet ou November 19,
1987, which was on or befor~ the first Monday of the month
uext prece~dh~g the beginning of the ensuing fiscal year, for
the purpose of ftxlng a fh,al budget at which hearing
taxpayers were heard who appeared for or against any part
said budget, aud
WIIEREAS. following the conclnslon o[ said bearing

WASIIINGTON. DO ORI)AIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The flual budget for the fiscal year
1988, three copies of which have been aud now are on file
with the office of the City Clerk, by this reference is
hereby incorporated herein as if set forth in full aud said
flnal budget shall be and the same is hereby adopted in full.
Section 2. Attached hereto and identified as
Exhibit A, in stunmary form, are the totals of estimated
revenues and appropriations for each separate fund and the
aggregate totals for all st, ch funds combined , aed by this
refereeoc said Exhibit A is tucorporated herein as if set
forth in full.
Sectiou 3. A complete copy of tile fiual budget for
1988. as adopted, together with a copy of I:lds adoptiug
ordtuauce shall be transmitted by the City Clerk to the
I)ivtston of Munlcipal Corporations of the office of the StaLe
Auditor and to the Association of Washtugton Cities.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect
January 1, 1988.
