AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLC~, WASHINGTON
LEVYING THE GENERAL TAXES FOR THE CITY OF WINSLG~
IN KITSAP COUNTY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR CCMMENCING JANUARY
1, 1989, ON ALL PROPERTY, BOTH REAL AND PERSONAL, IN
SAID CITY WHICH IS SUBJECT TO TAXATION FOR THE PURPOSE
OF PAYING SUFFICIenT REVENUE TO CARRY ON THE SEVERAL
DEPARIMENTS OF SAID CITY FOR THE ENSUING YEAR AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Winslow has
considered the City's anticipated financial requirements for
1989, and the amounts necessary and available to be raised by
ad valorera taxes on real, personal and utility property, now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLC~, ~ASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLIEWS:
Section 1. There shall be and hereby is levied on all
real, personal, and utility property in the City of Winslow, in
Kitsap County, whose estimated assessed valuation is $145,071,354,
current taxes for the ensuing year ccEm~ncing January 1, 1989, in
the amount of and at the rates specified below:

Section 2. This ordinance shall be certified to the
proper County Officials, as provided by law, and taxes here
levied shall be collected to pay to the Clerk/Treasurer of the
City of Winslow at the time and in the manner provided by the
laws of the State of Washington for the collection of taxes for
non-chartered code cities·
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published in the official
newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force (5)
days after publication.
