An ordinance of the City of Winslow, Washington, amending the
Zoning Ordinance, Title 18 of the Winslow Municipal Code
in Section 18.68.020 to add hotels and motels as permitted
use in the High School Road District.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Winslow,
Washington, has determined that the present zoning ordinance
should be amended in the interests of public health, welfare
and safety; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Winslow finds
that policies and actions outlined in the land use
subsection of the land use plan of the Comprehensive Plan
Gesignate businesses requiring access to Highway #305
be located in the High School Road District; now
THEREFORE, the Mayor and the City Council of the City
of Winslow, Washington, do ordain changes to the Winslow
Municipal Code Chapter 18, to read:
SECTION 1: Winslow Municipal Code Section 18.68.020
entitled High School Road District Permitted U~es
is hereby amended to add a new subsection:
N. Hotels and Motels
Section 2: This ordinance or summary of the title
shall be published in the official newspaper of the
City of Winslow, Washington and shall take effect
and be in full force five (5) days after publication.
