ORD 90-11 HILDEBRAND NAMINGORDINANCE NO. 90 - 11 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, DESIGNATING THE NEW STREET RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH BETWEEN WALLACE WAY AND THE WINSLOW VILLAGE SHOPPING CENTER AS HILDEBRAND LANE NORTHEAST. WHEREAS, the public is confused by the designation of the new street running north and south between Wallace Way and the Winslow Village Shopping Center as Ericksen Avenue Northeast; and WHEREAS, the City of Winslow has restricted access to that new street as part of the site plan review of the Winslow Village Shopping Center; and WHEREAS, the Hildebrand family has provided the citizens and community of the City of Winslow with efficient service through the Chevron Station at High School Road, and more recently at the new improved Chevron Station at the Winslow Village Shopping Center; and WHEREAS, the Chevron Station is located at the entrance of that street; and WHEREAS, Hildebrand Lane NE has been recommended by the Mayor and the City Council as the name of the new street; and WHEREAS, that street has been dedicated to and accepted by the City of Winslow pursuant to WMC 12.30.010; and WHEREAS, pursuant to WMC Chapter 12.16, the City of Winslow is authorized by ordinance to designate the name of that street; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The street right-of-way running north and south between Wallace Way and the Winslow Village Shopping Center (an extension of Ericksen Avenue Northeast) shall be designated as "Hildebrand Lane Northeast". Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five days from and after its passage, approval, publication and posting as required by law. 1990.
