ORD 91-23 CALCULATION OF LOT COVERAGEORDINANCE NO. 91-23
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Winslow, Washington,
relating to calculation of lot coverage and amending
Section 18.12.090 of the Winslow Municipal Code.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to clarify that eaves are
not included in the calculation of lot coverage; now, therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 18.12.090 of the Winslow Municipal Code
is amended as follows:
"Building" means any structure having a roof,
designated for shelter of persons, animals or
property. It does not include eaves for purposes
of determining the maximum lot area covered by
buildings.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five days from and after its passage, approval, publication
and posting as required by law.
