ORDINANCE NO. 91-21
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Winslow, Washington,
relating to the acceptance of interests in real
property, and adding new Chapter 3.73 to the
Winslow Municipal Code.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
in the best interests of the public health, safety, and
welfare of the citizens of the City of Winslow to authorize
the City Administrator, the Director of Public Works, and the
Director of Planning and Community Development to accept the
conveyance of any interest in real property for use by or on
behalf of the City; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A new chapter is added to Title 3 of the
Winslow Municipal Code as follows:
Chapter 3.73 Acceptance of Interest in Real
Property.
3.73.010 Authority to accept conveyance of any
interest in real property on behalf of the City.
The City Administrator, the Director of Public Works,
and the Director of Planning and Community
Development are each authorized to accept, on behalf
of the City, dedications, easements, rights-of-way,
fee estates or other interests in real property for
use by or on behalf of the City. Pursuant to this
authority, the City Administrator, the Director of
Public Works, or the Director of Planning and
Community Development are each authorized to sign and
accept delivery of real property acquisition
documents on behalf of the City.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force five days from and after its passage, approval,
publication and posting as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council this 18th day of April,
1991.
