ORD 91-15 APPROPRIAING FUNDS RECEIVED FROM ANNEXATIONORDINANCE NO. 91-15
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Winslow, Washington, relating
to the 1991 budget; appropriating funds to be received as
a result of annexation; and amending Ordinance No. 90-32.
WHEREAS, On February 28, 1991, all of Bainbridge Island was
annexed to the City of Winslow; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 90-32, the City Council adopted the
budget for 1991; and
WHEREAS, to cover expenses incident to and resulting from the
annexation and the provision of City services to the expanded City of
Winslow, it is necessary to amend the 1991 budget pursuant to RCW
35A.33.080 and 35A.33.120; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 90-32, and the 1991 budget are each
amended as set forth in Exhibit A.
Section 2. The City Clerk -Treasurer is authorized and directed to
make the necessary and appropriate changes to the 1991 budget as
authorized by this ordinance, and to transmit a certified copy of this
ordinance to the Auditor of the State of Washington, Division of
Municipal Corporations.
Section 3. This ordinance, having received the vote of one more
than a majority of all members of the City Council, shall take effect
and be in force five days from and after its passage, approval,
publication, and posting as required by law.
