ORD 91-09 AMENDING 1991 BUDGETORDINANCE NO. 91-09
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Winslow, Washington,
relating to the 1991 budget; and amending
Ordinance No. 90-32.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 90-32 and the 1991 budget
are amended as set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto and by
this reference incorporated herein to authorize expenditures
from the current expense fund, street fund, and utility fund
in the additional amount of $456,942.00 to fund 29 new
positions at varying terms.
Section 2. The City Clerk -Treasurer is authorized
and directed to make the necessary and appropriate changes to
the 1991 budget as authorized by this ordinance and to
transmit a copy of this ordinance to the Division of
Municipal Corporations in the Office of the State Auditor and
to the Association of Washington Cities.
Section 3. This ordinance, adopted by majority plus
one of the membership of the City Council, is a public
emergency ordinance necessary for the protection of public
health, safety, property and peace, and shall take effect and
be in force immediately upon its passage.
PASSED by the City Council this 21st day of February,
1991.
