ORD 93-19 MEETING PLACE FOR COUNCIL MEETINGSORDINANCE NO. 93 - 19
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING BAINBRIDGE ISLAND MUNICIPAL
CODE SECTION 2.04.020, WHICH IDENTIFIES THE MEETING
PLACE FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 93-13, as approved by the
Bainbridge Island City Council on April 1, 1993, indicates the
first City Council meeting in May will be held at Wilkes
Elementary; and
WHEREAS, Wilkes Elementary Spring Open House is
traditionally held on the first Thursday evening in May;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Section 2.04.020 of the Bainbridge Island
Municipal Code is amended as follows:
2.04.020 Place. The meeting place for the City
Council meetings shall be in the Bainbridge Island Fire
Department Building, Multi -Purpose Room, 8895 Madison
Avenue North, Bainbridge Island, Washington, except for
the first meeting in April, when it will be held at
Blakely Elementary School, 4704 Blakely Avenue NE,
Bainbridge Island, and the second meeting in May, when
it will be held at Wilkes Elementary School, 12781
Madison Avenue NE, Bainbridge Island.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five days from and after its passage, approval, and
publication as required by law.

1993.
