ORD 94-28 CITY OWNED COLD-PATCHERORDINANCE NO.94-28
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bainbridge Island,
Washington declaring a City owned cold-patcher
to be surplus to the City's needs.
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW Chapter 39.33.020, on November 3,
1994, the City, by Resolution 94-42, did establish the required
Public Hearing to be held before the Council on December 1, 1994,
and
WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was held as advertised, and
WHEREAS, the City has determined the cold-patcher, with an
approximate value of $15,000 to be surplus to the City's needs, and
WHEREAS, the City (Public Works Department) has been researching
alternatives relative to the most effective disposition of said
equipment, and
WHEREAS, Pacific County has a boom truck with an approximate value
of $15,000, which is surplus to their needs, and
WHEREAS, RCW Chapter 39.33.010 authorizes the intergovernmental
disposition of property in the form of permanent exchange.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON, DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The cold-patcher, with a value of approximately $15,000
is declared surplus to the City's needs.
Section 2. The City is authorized to enter into an Inter -Local
Agreement (ILA) for the permanent exchange of said equipment.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five
days from and after its passage, approval, publication and posting
as required by law.
