AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING BAINBRIDGE ISLAND MUNICIPAL
CODE SECTION 2.04.020, WHICH IDENTIFIES THE MEETING
PLACE FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
WHEREAS, the construction of Bainbridge Commons is estimated to be
completed during the month of May; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined the Bainbridge Commons facility is a
suitable location to conduct City Council meetings; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 2.04.020 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code is amended
as follows:
2.04.020 Place. Beginning with the June 2, 1994, City Council meeting, the
meeting place for City Council meetings shall be the Bainbridge Commons, Multi -
Purpose Room, 402 B'June Drive SE, Bainbridge Island, Washington, except for
the first meeting in April, when the meeting will be held at Blakely Elementary
School, 4704 Blakely Avenue NE, Bainbridge Island, and the second meeting in
May, when it will be held at Wilkes Elementary School, 12781 Madison Avenue
NE, Bainbridge Island.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five days from and
after its passage, approval, and publication as required by law.
