curb ~nd ~u~ter. This is not practical In this case for several
reasons. Primarily, the.city owned sT_rip on whjzh the road sits
is omly 30 feet wide. A~ the road also needs some sort of
~lder, a~ well as room far aT_her Infrastructure {wBter
sewer) it w~uldm't fit.
lar= it wouldn't fit in the neighborhood. The new
road accesses Loyal1 Avenue- Lovell avenue has no ditch or curb
1 k p e of the
neighborhood. As the road is iu a dead end there is a. known and
limited amolznt cf homes this road wou-%d service.
The other r~cen= roads in the neighborhood fAlfurd, Janell, and
A1 Dorsey Lane) are not curb and gutter.
My first choice (sad the choice of eveI~/one else the road
services) i~ to have a gavel road. If we are forced to pave i=
[with ditches on both sides connection to a storm system we
1 i o be for the cit~ to absadon ~t's' 30 foot
strip end t~rn it bank into private property. It could be split
!5 feet to benefit the landowners on either side.- We, the
!~"downers, lwou!d enter into a maint~-ence agreement and maintain
the road ourselves, saving %he c!t~ that expense.
Please review my proposal and let me know at your earliest
possible conveneinca what the city's position is on this matter.
Thank you in advance for your help.
