ORD 97-23 INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION & MAINTENANCEORDINANCE NO. 97-23
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington,
relating to standards for infrastructure design, construction,
operation, and maintenance; amending Ordinance No. 94-29, and
repealing Ordinance No. 96-47.
WHEREAS, the City has previously adopted by ordinance certain City documents that set
forth standards for certain public infrastructure design, construction, operation, and maintenance;
and
WHEREAS, those documents have since been updated and their titles have changed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adopt an ordinance reflecting those changes; now,
therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 96-47 of the City of Bainbridge Island relating to Engineering
Design and Development Standards is repealed.
Section 2. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 94-29 of the City of Bainbridge Island is amended
as follows:
The following City documents, copies of which are on file
with the City Clerk and with the City Engineer, are adopted by
reference:
Engineering Design and Construction Standards dated April
1997.
B. Winslow Water System Plan dated September 1995.
C. Cross-Connection Control Program dated November 17, 1994.
Section 3. The term "Engineering Design and Development Standards" in the City Code
shall refer to the "Engineering Design and Construction Standards dated April 1997."
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five days after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
