ORD 99-09 AMENDING DAY, PLACE AND TIME LIMIT OF CITY COUNCIL MEETINGSORDINANCE NO. 99-09
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington,
Relating to the day, place, and time limit for meetings of the
City Council of the City of Bainbridge Island; amending
Bainbridge Island Municipal Code Sections 2.04.010, 2.04.020,
2.04.030 and 2.04.040; and repealing Ordinances No. 91-01 and
8 1-29.
The City Council of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, do ordain as follows:
Section 1.

Section 2.04.010 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code is amended as
2.04.010 Held When. The City Council shall hold its meetings on the second and fourth
Wednesday of each month.
Section 2.

Section 2.04.020 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code is amended as
2.04.020 Place. The meeting place for the City Council meetings shall be in the Bainbridge
Commons, multi-purpose room, located at 402 Bjune Drive SW, Bainbridge Island, Washington.
Section 3.
follows:
Section 2.04.030 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code is amended as
2.04.030 Time. The time for such City Council meetings shall be 7:00 PM.

Section 4. Section 2.04.040 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code is amended as
2.04.040 Time Limit.
City Council meetings shall continue until all business on the agenda has been concluded.
However, by majority vote, the Council may elect to carry over and/or continue some items of
business.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five days from and after its
passage, approval and publication as required by law, or March 31, 1999, whichever occurs first.
