RES 81-07 GIRL'S WEEKRESOLUTION NO. '81 - 07
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE WEEK OF MARCH 8 - 21
GIRL'S WEEK AND HONORING THE GIRL SCOUT AND
CAMPFIRE AND YMCA GIRL ' S PROGRAMS.
WHEREAS, the anniversary of Girl Scouts and Camp fi:re is
in March ; and
WHEREAS, these programs are a valuable part of growth and
development of young people; and
WHEREAS the City Council wishes to acknowledge Girls Week;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City o f Wins low that;
March 8 - 21 is hereby declared Girl's Week in the City
o f Wins lowo
APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Winslow this
2nd day of March, 1981.
