92-10 VACATION OF A PORTION OF IHLAND WAYRESOLUTION NO. 92
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island,
Washington, fixing a time and place for a public hearing
to consider the vacation of a portion of
IHLAND WAY.
WHEREAS, the Bainbridge Island City Council acknowledges receipt
of a petition to vacate a portion of Ihland Way, and
WHEREAS, the Bainbridge Island City Council by state statute is
required to indicate by resolution the time for hearing prior to
making a decision as to any such vacation, and
WHEREAS, the Bainbridge Island City
proceedings to be in the public interest,
Council finds these
NOW, THEREFORE, THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing shall be held on the requested
vacation of a portion of Ihland Way, described as depicted on the
attached drawing for review on Monday, .~f~/~ ~./~ at
'~.'~/~, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard by the
Public Works Committee, at the Rolling Bay Courthouse located at 10255
N.E. Valley Road, Bainbridge Island, Washington.
Section 2. The Director of Public Works or his designee is
authorized and directed to post and mail notices as required by RCW
35.79.020, and to publish the notice of the public hearing at least
twenty (20) days prior to the hearing.
