RES 93-18 FREE JUNK MOTOR VEHICLE REMOVAL MONTHAMENDED JUNE 15, 1993 RESOLUTION NO. 93-18 A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington declaring the month of July, 1993 "Free Junk Motor Vehicle Removal Month" WHEREAS, the City Council is in favor of reducing the number of junk motor vehicles on properties; and WHEREAS, as a goodwill gesture and to provide citizens in possession of junk motor vehicles the opportunity to clean up their properties and neighborhoods voluntarily; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. During the month of July, 1993, citizens of the City of Bainbridge Island who wish to have removed junk motor vehicles from their property may do so without charge to the citizens or the City of Bainbridge Island by phoning the City's Code Enforcement Officer (842-0656) or Gateway Towing (842-4851). Section 2. Citizens who wish to make arrangements to have junk motor vehicles towed will be asked to supply the following information: Name, address, telephone number, license plate number (including state where issued), make of vehicle, vehicle identification number, signed Title or Release of Interest (form available for the Chamber of Commerce) . Section 3. The City of Bainbridge Island expresses its appreciation to Gateway Towing for its participation in this program to benefit the community.
