RES 93-06 ACCEPTANCE OF BOB LUCAS' "THE SEED" SCULPTURE DONATIONRESOLUTION NO. 93-06
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON, ACCEPTING THE GENEROUS DONATION MADE BY BOB
LUCAS OF HIS SCULPTURE ENTITLED "THE SEED".
WHEREAS, In the Spring of 1992, the Bob Lucas
sculpture entitled "The Seed" was placed on display in the
renovated area fronting Town & Country Market along Winslow
Way E.; and
WHEREAS, The City Council Land Use/Economic Issues
Standing Committee conducted a hearing at which it received
positive public comment regarding the placement of "The Seed";
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The City of Bainbridge Island gratefully accepts the generous
donation of "The Seed" made by sculptor Bob Lucas which will
permanently be displayed in the renovated area fronting Town &
Country Market located on Winslow Way E.
