RES 94-47 FOUR HOUR PARKING AREA ON BRIEN AND BJUNE DRIVESRESOLUTION NO. 94 - 47
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island,
Washington, establishing a policy of approving Brien and Bjune
Drives parking as a four hour parking area and discontinuing all
"monthly" parking in this area.
WHEREAS, BIMC Chapter
Regulations", and
10.08 addresses the City's "Parking
WHEREAS, to retain the unique nature of "downtown Winslow" and to
encourage pedestrian traffic in this area, Brien and Bjune Drives are
to become available for open parking.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON, DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
Discontinue the use of Brien and Bjune Drives for
"monthly parking" effective January 1, 1995, making them
available for open parking.
Section 2.
Discontinue the issuing of monthly parking permits for
Brien and Bjune Drives effective immediately.
Section 3.
Establish Brien and Bjune Drives as a four (4) hour open
parking area.
Section 4.
The Public Works Department is directed to post standard
traffic signs indicating such revision.
