RES 94-42 PUBLIC HEARING FOR DECLARATION OF EQUIPMENT SURPLUSRESOLUTION NO. 94 - 42
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge
Island, Washington, establishing a Public Hearing
for the declaration of equipment surplus to the
City's needs.
WHEREAS, the City has a roadway cold patcher that is surplus to the
Public Works Department, and
WHEREAS, the Department has been working with Pacific County who can
more effectively utilize the cold patcher, and
WHEREAS, Pacific County has equipment of equal value which is surplus
to their needs but which can be more effectively utilized by the City.
WHEREAS, RCW Chapter 39.33 requires a Public Hearing be held prior to
disposing of surplus property valued at more than five thousand
dollars.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
To establish a Public Hearing at 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 1,
1994, to receive comments relative to the declaration of the
Public Works Department's roadway cold patcher as surplus to the
City's needs.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish this
notice of a scheduled Pubic Hearing as required by RCW 39.33.020.
