RES 94-32 HEARING FOR COMMENTS RE: CITY'S STATE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMRESOLUTION NO. 94 - 32
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HEARING TIME AND DATE FOR
THE PURPOSE OF RECEIVING COMMENTS RELATIVE TO THE CITY'S
PROPOSED STATE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (STIP).
WHEREAS, the annual State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP)
requires the establishment and holding of a Public Hearing, and
WHEREAS, the STIP adheres to the Transportation and Capital Facilities
Elements of the City's recently approved Comprehensive Plan, as
required by the State Growth Management Act.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A Public Hearing is hereby scheduled for 7:00 PM on
Thursday, September 22, 1994, to receive comments from the public
relative to the required annual submission of the required six-
year State Transportation Improvement Program (copy attached).
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
publish this notice of a scheduled Public Hearing as required by
RCW 35.79,010.
