Bainbridge Island, WA 98110 RESOLUTION NO. 2006-44 A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, recognizing the 1896 vacation of a portion of Pine Street, and the entirety of Fir Street and Spruce Street. WHEREAS, a portion of Pine Street, and the entirety of Fir Street and Spruce Street were dedicated as a country roads in 1891 in an area that was subsequently annexed into the City of Bainbridge Island in 1991; and WHEREAS, the laws in effect at the time of the dedication required the roadway to be opened for public use within five years of dedication. The City of Bainbridge Island hereby recognized and acknowledges that, pursuant to the Laws of 1889-1890, Section 32, Chapter 19, a portion of Pine Street, and the entirety of Fir Street and Spruce Street as described on Exhibit A (legal description) and depicted on Exhibit B (map) has been vacated by operation of law. 2. Severabilitv.
