RES 95-33 APPROVAL OF FINAL PLAT FOR ARONSON SUBDIVISIONRESOLUTION NO. 95-33
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR THE ARONSON SUBDIVISION.
Whereas, by Resolution No. 95-08, adopted on March 2, 1995, the City of Bainbfidge
Island Council approved the preliminary plat application, on approximately two acres of property
located approximately 400 feet south of NE Buckskin Lane and west of Lavender Lane NE; and
Whereas, on April 18, 1995, a final plat application was submitted to the Department
of Planning and Community Development by Gary Aronson; and
Whereas, the City Engineer and the Bremerton-Kitsap County Health District reviewed
and provided approval of the final plat; and
Whereas, the Department reviewed the final plat and forwarded its recommendation
the City Council; and
Whereas, the City Council has approved the Site Restoration Agreement and
Performance Security Agreement in the sum of $10,000; and
Whereas, the City Council amended condition no. 1 of Resolution No. 95-08, to read:
No vegetation shall be removed from the steep slope areas. No further trimming and/or limbing
may occur within steep slope areas. Dead or dangerous trees may be removed with permission
from a certified arborist and the City of Bainbridge Island Planning Department; now, therefore.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND,
WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council finds that the subdivision proposed for final plat approval
with the necessary amendment to Condition No. 1, of Resolution 95-08, and the approval of the
Site Restoration Agreement and Performance Security Agreement in the sum of $10,000,
conforms to all terms and conditions of the preliminary plat approval, as amended.
Section 2. The City Council finds that the subdivision proposed for final plat approval
meets the requirements of Chapter 58.17 RCW, other applicable State laws, BIMC Chapter
17.04, the zoning ordinance and all other applicable ordinances that were in effect at the time
of preliminary plat approval.
Section 3. The Council Chair is authorized and directed to inscribe and execute the City
Council's approval on the face of the final plat.
Section 4. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to file the original of the final plat
for record with the Kitsap County Auditor, and to file one reproducible copy of the final plat
containing the Kitsap County Auditor's recording number with the City Clerk, the City
Engineer, the Kitsap County Assessor and the applicant.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, this
