RES 2004-22 LYTLE ROAD "NO PARKING"RESOLUTION NO. 2004 — 22
A RESOLUTION of the City of Bainbridge Island,
Washington designating "No Parking" areas along certain
portions of Lytle Road south of Pleasant Beach Drive.
. WHEREAS, Lytle Road terminates in a Road End south of Pleasant Beach which
is a public Right of Way providing access to a scenic waterfront, and
WHEREAS, the Lytle Road end is very popular with the public and receives a
large number of visitors, especially during the summer months, and
WHEREAS, the City received a request from the Pleasant Beach Community
Association to establish a portion of Lytle Road as No Parking areas, and
WHEREAS, the resulting congestion makes emergency access difficult to the
Road End and the surrounding neighborhood, and
WHEREAS, WAC 308-330-265 (13) sets forth that establishments of No Parking
areas in excess of 100 feet should have legislative approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON, as follows:
That the following areas along Lytle Road shall be designated "No Parking":
1. The east side of Lytle Road starting at the intersection of Pleasant Beach Drive
, and continuing south for two hundred twenty feet, and
2. Both sides of Lytle Road within 60 feet of the Road End parking lot.
