ORD 69-04 ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIESAN ORDINANCE APPROVE~G PETITION iND ORDERING ANI~XATION TO THE T~)'N OF WINSL~N OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES CONTIGUOUS T~ECF. WHEREAS, a petition bearing the signatures of property owners representing 1OO% in assessed valuation of the property herein described, was filed with the To~m Council of the Town of Winslow, in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, asking that said properties be annexed to the Town of ~inslow, and ~ZRIM~9, the said petitions were, by Resolution, entertained by the Town Council subject to assumption of Town indebtedness by the area if annexed, and in accordance vdth the laws of the State of Washington, a date and place of hearing was designated, and Y~EREAS, the area proposed for amnexation is less than ten acres and less than $200,000 in assessed valuation, it was agreed that convening a review boardwas not required, all in accordance with R.C.W. 3~-13,172~ and WHEREAS, the Town Clerk caused notices of the date and time and place os said hearing to be duly and regularly published and posted as required by law, and Y~RFAS, a hearing was held on February 17, 1969, at the To~mHall in the Town of Winslow in accordance with said notices, and at said tLme and place no one appeared in opposition to said petition, and NOW, T~HYi~EFORE, BE IT ORDAII~ED by the Town Council of the Town of W~slow, that the following described lands, to PARCEL A: The South 65 feet (as measured along Fairview Avenue) of that portion of Tract 15, L.Zadrono Park, Eagle Harbor, as per plat recorded in Volmne I of Plats on Page 49, records of Kitsap County, lying Easterly of Fairvitav Avenue; TOGETHER WITH that portion of vacated Washington Avenue and of the unplatted uplands lying between the North and South lines of the above d~:~:;c~'ibed tract, extended Easterly; F~XCEPT that portion conveyed to Kitsap County by deed bearing AuSitor's File No. 126618, for street purposes. PARCEL B: That portion of Tract l~, ~,{adrono Park, as per plat recorded in Volume i of Plats on Page h9, records of Kitsap County, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the East line of FairviewAvenue with the North line of the South 65 feet of said Tract 15 (as measured along Fair~ia~ Avenue), which is the true point of beginning; thence run North, along the East line of FairviewAvenue, 15 feet; thence East, paraI~l to the North line of the aforesaid South 65 feet, 80 feet; thence South, parallel to the East line of Fair~dew~venue, 15 feet to the North line of the afore- said South 65 feet of said Tract 15; thence West, along said North line, 80 feet, to the true point of beginning; EXCEPT any portion conveyed to Kitsap County by deed recorded under Auditor's File No. 126618, records of Kitsap County. PARCEL C: The West half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter, Section 27, Township 2~ North, Range 2 East, W. ':.c except the East 60 feet thereof. are in accordance with the petition herein filed, hereby annexed to the Town of Winslow as of five days following publication of this Ordinance in the February 20th issue of the Bremerton for the To~m of Winslow, Washington.
