ORD 77-25 AMEND 1977 BUDGET ORDINANCE 77-25
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW TO AMEND THE 1977 BUDGET
ORDINANCE 76-21 AND PROVIDING FOR REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES
UNFORSEEN AT THE TIME OF THE 1977 BUDGET ADOPTION.
WHEREAS, the sewer construction project has proceeded in
advance of the anticipated schedule and construction expenditures
will exceed the amount anticipated in the 1977 Budget and the
Park Development IAC grant has been increased to cover additional
anticipated expenditures and
WHEREAS, the eligible sewer construction costs will be reimbursed
with grants funds from EPA and DOE,
NOW therefore the Council of the City of Winslow do ordain as
follows:
THAT unanticipated revenues in the form of grants funds be
appropriated to the water and sewer construction fund in the
amount of $550,000. and the Park Development Fund in the amount
of $8,000
THAT expenditures of $550,000 are hereby authorized and approved
to be expended to sewer construction costs and expenditures of
$8,000. are hereby authorized and approved to be expended to
Park development.
PASSED by unanimous vote of the Council of the City of Winslow and
approved by its Mayor this 21st day of Nov. 1977.
