AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW DESIGNATING PUBLIC
PLACES AS OFFICIAL POSTING PLACES FOR CITY OF WINSLOW
NOTICES AND ORDINANCES AND REPEALING ORDINANCE 73-23.
The City Council of the City of Winslow do ordain as follows:
1. Pursuant to the provisions of RCW 35A.12.160 the following
public places in the City are designated as the official posting
places for City notices and ordinances and all ordinances shall
be posted in said places promptly after adoption. The City Clerk
shall sign an affidavit of posting which will be attached to the
original ordinance and filed in the ordinance book.
A. Winslow City Hall, 625 Winslow Way East, Winslow,
Washington, 98110.
B. Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce, 166 Winslow
Way East, Winslow, Washington 98110.
C. Washington State Ferry Passenger Terminal Building,
Winslow, Washington 98110.
2. Notwithstanding the posting of ordinances the City Council
may direct the Clerk to publish in a newspaper of general
circulation within the City of Winslow any ordinance adopted
but the effective date of all ordinances, except those designated
emergency ordinances, shall be five (5) days after posting
irrespective of the date of publication.
3. Ordinance No. 73-~3 and all other ordinances or portions
thereof which are inconsistent with this ordinance are deemed
repealed.
