ORD 78-01 AMEND THE 1977 BUDGETORDINANCE 78 - 01
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW TO AMEND THE 1977 BUDGET
ORDINANCE 76-21 AND PROVIDING FOR REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES
UNFORSEEN AT THE TIME OF THE 1977 BUDGET ADOPTION.
WHEREAS, The sewer construction project has proceeded in
advance of the anticipated schedule and construction expenditures
will exceed the amount anticipated in the 1977 Budget and the
legal costs and insurance coverage will exceed the original
Budget estimate and
WHEREAS, The eligible sewer construction costs will be reimbursed
with grants funds from EPA and DOE, and legal and insurance costs
will be paid from unanticipated Revenues in the Current Expense Fund,
NOW therefore the Council of the City of Winslow do ordain as
follows:
THAT unanticipated revenues in the form of grants funds be
appropriated to the water and sewer constructi6n fund in the
amount of $445,000- and the Current Expense Fund in the amount
of $14,500.
THAT expenditures of $445,000. are hereby authorized and approved
to be expended to sewer construction costs and expenditures of
$14,500. are hereby authorized and approved to be expended to
Current Expense Fund.
PASSED by unanimous vote of the Council of the City of Winslow and
approved by its Mayor this 16th day of January, 1978.
