ORD 80-29 REVIEW OF ENVIRONMENTAL CHECKLISTS ORDINANCE NO. 80- 29
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW AMENDING
ORDINANCE 76-11 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 77-22
AND 80-19; PROVIDING FOR FEES FOR REVIEW OF
ENVIRONMENTAL CHECKLISTS, PREPARED PURSUANT TO
SEPA.
The City Council of the City of Winslow do ordain as
fol lows:
Section 1:
That Section 17. Fees, (a) Environmental Assessments,
of Ordinance 78-11 as amended is deemed amended as follows:
(a) Environmental Assessments - For every environmental
assessment to be performed by the City when the City is
lead agency, a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) shall
be required of the proponent of the proposal. This fee
shall be collected prior to undertaking the threshold
determination, and the time periods provided by this
ordinance for 'making a threshold determination shall not
begin to run until payment of the fee. If the complexity
of the environmental assessment requires additional time
by the responsible official which exceeds one hour, an
additional charge will be made of twenty five ($25.00) an
hour for each hour or fraction thereof thereafter.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect 5 days
after its publication and posting as required by law.
