ORDINANCE NO. 86-25
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHING-
TON, ADDING A NEW SECTION 12.24.065 TO THE
WINSLOW MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROHIBIT MOORAGE AT
THE EAGLE HARBOR BOAT DOCK FOR LONGER THAN 48
HOURS AT A TIME AND NO LONGER THAN 48 HOURS IN
ANY SEVEN DAY PERIOD.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Winslow, finds
that the following ordinance is necessary for the public health,
safety and utilization of the boat dock at Eagle Harbor
Waterfront Park, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A new Section 12.24.065 is hereby added to
the Winslow Municipal Code to read as follows:
12.24.065 Moorage at Boat Dock Limited. No
person shall moor or tie a vessel or watercraft to
the Eagle Harbor Waterfront Park boat dock for
more than 48 hours at a time, nor for more than 48
hours within any seven day period. The police
department is authorized to impound and remove
vessels and watercraft in violation of this
section without the notice requirements set forth
in Section 12.24.050 and 12.24.060; provided,
however, that signs notifying the public of the
requirements of this section have been posted in a
conspicuous place or places on or near the boat
dock.
Section 2. This ordinance or a summary thereof con-
sisting of the title shall be published in the official newspaper
of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force five (5)
days after publication.
