ORD 93-40 PUBLIC POSTINGORDINANCE NO. 93-4o
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington,
relating to places for public posting and publication of ordinances,
and amending Sections 1.12.010 and 1. 12.020 of the Bainbridge
Island Municipal Code.
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 35A.12.160, notice of the passage of an ordinance may
be given by publication of the text or a summary of the text of the ordinance at least once in the
official newspaper of the City, and posting is no longer required; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Section 1.12.010 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code is amended as
follows:
1.12.010. Posting Places -Desi.
35A. !-2 ' 6^, •The following public places in the city are designated as the official
posting places for all city notices and other documents required by law to be
posted:

Section 2. Section 1. 12.020 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code is amended as
follows:
1.12.020. Publication of Ordinances. Promptly after adoption, the text of each
