ORD 95-25 SHORELINE MASTER PROGRAMORDINANCE NO. 9S - 2 ~
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington,
adopting a new shoreline master program for the City; adding a
new chapter to Title 16 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code;
amending Chapter 16.12 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code;
and repealing Paragraph 3 of Exhibit A to Ordinance No. 90-17.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interests of the public
to adopt the Shoreline Master Program attached to this ordinance as Exhibit A as the new
shoreline master program for the City; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Adoption of Shoreline Master Program. The Shoreline Master Program
attached to this ordinance as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference is adopted as
the Shoreline Master Program for the City.
Section 2. Codification of Shoreline Master Program. Chapter 16.12 of the Bainbridge
Island Municipal Code is amended and replaced in its entirety with the provisions set forth in
the Shoreline Master Program attached as Exhibit A to this ordinance and incorporated herein
by this reference.
Section 3. Repealer. Paragraph 3 of Exhibit A to Ordinance No. 90-17 is repealed.
Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five days
from and after its passage, approval, and publication as required by law.
