ORD 95-26 EAGLE HARBOR WATERFRONT PARKORDINANCE NO. 95-26
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington,
relating to Eagle Harbor Waterfront Park; amending section
12.24. 120 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code.
WHEREAS, Chapter 12.24, of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code relates to the uses
of Eagle Harbor Waterfront Park and assumes control and jurisdiction over waters within Eagle
Harbor Waterfront Park which shall be known as "Park Harbor"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City to
amend section 12.24.120, Violation - Penalty; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON,
DOES ORDAIN as follows:
12.24.120 Violation - Penalty
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a civil
infraction upon a finding or agreement that the infraction was committed and shall be fined in
an amount not to exceed $500.00. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to
continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such under this section.
Civil infractions under this chapter may be issued by any police officer, parking enforcement
officer or code enforcement officer of the City. City infractions under this chapter shall be
processed in the same matter as those issued under Bainbridge Island Municipal Code Chapter
1.26, et sequitur.
