91-08 SEPA APPEAL BY BISD AND PETER EGLICK & ASSOC FOR HARBOURSIDE CONDOSRESOLUTION NO. 91-08 A RESOLUTION of the City of Winslow, Washington, fixing a time and place for a public hearing to consider the SEPA Appeal submitted by Peter J. Eglick & Associates on behalf of the Bainbridge Island School District, of the Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance for the Harbourside Condominiums (proponent: John Hunt/Hunt Associates, File No. SSDP#10-27-89-2). THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WINSLOW, WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. A public hearing shall be held on the SEPA Appeal of File No. SSDP#10-27-89-2, the Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance for the Harbourside Condominiums (proponent: John Hunt/Hunt Associates), on May 2, 1991, at 8:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard by the City Council. Section 2. The City Clerk-Treasurer is authorized and directed to post notice of the public hearing at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing. Section 3. The Appeal is referred to the Department of Planning and Community Development for investigation and report, as necessary, at the public hearing. WHEREAS, the City of Winslow, Washington, is in agreement with the need to reduce excessive dependence on oil and to use energy more efficiently, and WHEREAS, the City of Winslow's Transportation Policy encourages use of mass transit and alternate methods of transportation such as car/van pooling, walking, and bicycling, and WHEREAS, the City of Winslow is in sympathy with the goals of Seattle-area business, environment, government, education, religious, and recreation groups calling for Oil Smart Wednesday activities; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that I hereby proclaim that the Oil Smart Wednesday campaign will be held from February 27, 1991 through March 27, 1991, and ask all citizens to choose an energy-efficient means to and from the workplace.
