92-53 SSDP09-16-92-1 FOR 2 ABOVE GROUND FUEL OIL TANKS AT FERRYRESOLUTION NO. 9 2 - 5 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON, APPROVING A SHORELINE SUBSTANTIAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR A THE PLACEMENT OF TWO (2) ABOVE GROUND FUEL OIL STORAGE TANKS AT THE FERRY TERMINAL AND MAINTENANCE BUILDINGS, SSDP 09-16-92-1. WHEREAS, an application was submitted on September 16, 1992 to the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, by the Washington State Department of Transportation to add one (1) 5,000 gallon and one (1) 2,000 gallon above ground fuel oil tank to the Ferry Terminal and Maintenance Building, and WHEREAS, a public meeting was held by the City Planning Agency on October 22, 1992, to consider the application, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, has determined it to be in the public interest to adopt the Planning Agency Finding of Facts and Conclusions of Law as determined at its regular Council meeting of December 3, 1992. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, as tbllows: Section 1. The application of the Washington State Department of Transportation, SSDP09- 16-92-1 for the addition of two above ground fuel oil storage tanks is approved. Section 2. The Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law, attached as Attachment 1 are hereby adopted by the City Council.
