RES 94-19 APPROVAL OF SSDP AND SHORELINE CUP FOR AERIAL TRAM FORTHE ROBERTSRESOLUTION NO. 94-19
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE
ISLAND, WASHINGTON, APPROVING A SHORELINE SUBSTANTIAL
DEVELOPMENT PERMIT AND SHORELINE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
for the construction of an aerial tram, SSDP 03-20-92-1
WHEREAS, an application was submitted on March 20, 1992 to the City of Bainbridge
Island, Washington, by Mr. and Mrs. Clay Roberts to build a 243 foot long cable lift at the top
of a 175 foot bank to access beach property, and
WHEREAS, a public meeting was held by the City Planning Commission on February
24, 1994, to consider the application, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, has
determined it to be in the public interest to adopt the Planning Commission Finding of Facts and
Conclusions of Law as determined at its regular Council meeting of May 5, 1994,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Bainbridge Island,
Washington, as follows:
Section 1. The application of Mr. and Mrs. Clay Roberts, SSDP 03-20-92-1, for the
construction and installation of an aerial tram is approved.
Section 2. The Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law, attached as Attachment 1
are hereby adopted by the City Council.
