RES 96-20 REVISION TO SSDP FOR A SINGLE FAMILY DOCK BY MILLER LEMBKERESOLUTION NO. 96-,-20 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A REVISION TO A SHORELINE SUBSTANTIAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR A SINGLE FAMILY DOCK BY MILLER LEMBKE (SSDP 08-17-95-1). WHEREAS, an application has been submitted to the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington by Miller Lembke to revise a Shoreline Substantial Development permit (SSDP 08- 17-95-1) to allow a 230 foot dock to be reconstructed as a 100 foot pier, 40 ramp and 60 foot floating dock in Port Madison Bay of Bainbridge Island, and WHEREAS, the City of Bainbridge Island Planning Commission found that (1) The permit is consistent with the criteria for Shoreline Substantial Development Permit revision for single family docks; (2) The project is is not in conflict with the Master Program; and (3) The use is permitted in the Semi -rural environment; and WHEREAS, the City of Bainbridge Island Planning Commission determined the permit was minor in nature, of relatively small scale and generated no significant public controversy, and WHEREAS, the City of Bainbridge Island Planning Commission adopted the staff report as its Findings of Fact, Conclusions of law and Recommendation and referred this proposal to the City Council, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, has determined it to be in the public interest to adopt the Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law and Recommendation of the Bainbridge Island Planning Commission at its regular Council meeting of May 2, 1996, Lembke Shoreline Substantial Development Permit Revision (SSDP 08-17-95-1) NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Bainbridge Island, Washington, as follows: Section 1. The Shoreline Substantial Development Permit application (SSDP 08-17- 95-1), a revision of Kitsap County Shoreline Substantial Development Permit 527-18 (20), to the City of Bainbridge Island for the reconstruction of an existing 230 foot single family dock in Port Madison Bay on Puget Sound is approved accordingly. Section 2. The Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law and Recommendation, attached as Exhibit A are hereby adopted by the City Council. Janet K.
